I am new on this site and fell upon it by accident. As I want to find out more on my Grandfather Captain Humphrey Weaver who was with the 114th Indian Mahrattas Army.
Major Peter Weaver is my father. I see John Robertson crated a good site on him. I want to make contact with John Robertson as I have more information to give him to add for this site, there have been books written with good mentions of Peter Weaver Max Hastings being the first. Gavin Mortimer wrote Sterling?s Men and Michael Asher wrote a cracking chapter on my father in his Bulbasket operations.
My father had an obituary written in the Telegraph which should be added if possible. My email address is joannagstaad@hotmail.co.uk please can someone contact me so I can give relevant information.
