My Dad

John, I just registered and did a search of your site looking for my father's name. My dad was Lt. Mitchell Jarjoura with the 2nd Battalion of Merrill's Marauders. He was awarded the Combat Inf. Badge, three Purple Hearts, one Bronze Star and one Silver Star. Those are the awards that I know about. He Made it through the Marauders unscratched, however, after the breakup, he was assigned to the M.A.R.S.M.E.N. This is where he was actually shot up and left for dead. Four days later when the body bag crew came through they found my dad alive. He lived to be 84 years old. He passed away on Nov. 15, 2002 and is buried in Deltona, Florida.
