Attached are some images from Operation Canuck. One shows the 2 SAS 3 Sqn members on parade in Cuneo Italy on May 6th 1945. Captain Robert "Buck" MacDonald is out front. (Source: Marco Ruzzi of the Cuneo Historical Institute for the Resistance).
The second was taken in Castino Italy. It shows the SAS assembling their Browning and Vickers machine guns that had been air dropped the previous night. Partisans and civilians look on.
