I have finally put together a list of all Honours and Awards to members of the unit(s) codenamed Phantom. Seven Phantoms were awarded the Military Cross; four Phantoms the Military Medal; one the Distinguished Conduct Medal; forty Phantoms were mentioned in despatches. Three Phantoms appointed OBE; thirteen Phantoms appointed MBE; and three Phantoms appointed BEM. At least seven received the Territorial Efficiency Decoration and more than two the Territorial Efficiency Medal. At least 17 received C-in-C good service certificates. One Phantom received a Legion of Merit, degree of legionaire from the Americans. Ten Phantoms received Bronze Star Medals. Two Phantoms received C-in-C US Army 12 Group Certificate of Merit. Finally four Phantom were awarded Belgian Croix de Guerre; one Phantom the French Croix de Guerre (with Silver Star) and one the Polish Cross of Valour (but not ratified by post war Polish Goverment.
