Attached - is 'Bill' Calvey with his mates having a 'Sky Lark' 'Hands up photo'. Bill right drove the Bedford QL from D Day and prgress with this Truck through the Greman occupied countries. Notice the 'P' on the front of the Bedford.

Does anyone know the other Lads here or maybe know of the photo and where it was taken. The Pal with Hands up could have been known as Mac or Matt. Can anyone verify?

I don't know how to add photos to the Phantom Gallery. Any help would be appreciated.

From what Dad told me the others in the photo are:

Left of the shot is Bill "Billy" Wells. The "captured German" is Gordon "Mac" McElwey, at the back is Johnny Johns, on the far right is Bill Calvey.

It will be interesting if anyone else knows these other A squadron members.
