I work with PSNI Historic Enquiries in NI, presently reviewing Sgt Maughan's murder.I am in touch with Robert's family and would like to speak to someone who knew him. Robert was known as George in NI and he was based in Enniskillen. He was murdered along with a Special Branch RUC officer in Lisnaskea on 6th May 1979.
His parent unit was the 9th/12th Lancers, Senham.

Are you still around Mike? I would have been the son in law of the RUC officer you speak off, had he lived
