I was there when Russ was carried away with a Special Forces Medic in attendance. I heard the shot from the room next door. I still often think of him. Never forgotten!!!

I was there in that supply room in the basement of the airport, it's a memory that will never fade. I can remember him walking up and down the hallways always taking pictures. He would pop his head into rooms and snap a photo or two. He was the person that inprocessed me in the support company and used to come check on me at what was called PLDC.
