SADC Force 136

Can any one throw any light on this. My father died recently and amongst his effects is a tankard engraved

presented to S/Sargent Fuller from SADC force 136 sgts mess India 1945

I know he spent time in maly/burma/india during WWII but liitle else.

i cannot find any details for the abbreviation

Any help appreciated.
