LCpl Mike Stanion served as Driver/Batman to Maj Brian Urquhart, Dorset Regt when serving as GSO2 Intelligence, HQ 1 AB Corps (and detached to T Force, Second Army in April 1945.) Maj Urquhart subsequently became Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations. T Force was concerned with Technical Intelligence Exploitation in British Second army and Canadian First Army.
