It is my sad duty to relate that ex Sgt SASR, Michael Jan "Joe" Van Droffelaar, is being buried this afternoon. Joe was 67 years old

I found this entry with a picture half way down the page taken on the tarmac of Hanoi?s Noi Bai Airport on 9 October 2008. Michael Jan "Joe" Van Droffelaar and his Squadron mates bringing home the recently found body of one of their comrades. Heroes all.
