I only found out late last year p/o welch was stationed at raf woodhall spa.As a robert welch my self I found it quite strange that 2 people with the same name should be stationed at the same camp all be it fifty years later.I was stationed at woodhall engine bay for the last 2 years of my raf service,i found out about p/o welch on a visit to thorpe camp musium(located at old raf woodhall buildings)where they have a display dedicated to 617 sqn(well worth a visit).many thanks to the web site author for answering a few more questions for me which Ihad on p/o welch.best wishes robert(bob)welch.
