Jack Alcock-centre of picture-fought with the Coldstream Guards at Dunkirk then moved to North Africa where he joined 2 SAS-next went to Italy then Home(Scotland)then Alsace Lorraine. He was RSM to 3 Para on the Suez drop in 1956. In the 1960s we lived on the SAS base in Hereford when he re-joined 22 SAS. Older by then he was given the role of Motor transport officer.
