I have not yet seen SAS troops wearing the Army Air Corps badge although this isthe parent Corps. May be to do with the Kommando befehl, to conceal that they were SAS?

all SAS came under Army Aircorps and later in Northern Germany they wore the Black Beret of the Tank corps aven their pay books were Tank corps --a few members succeeded in having two pay books!!
