My father Sgt Joseph Henry "Tim" Robinson served with Len Curtis and were together on Operation Speedwell. After completing their mission they walked through occupied Italy for 53 days reaching Allied Lines safely. He spoke very warmly of Len and was very sad that he died subsequently. I have my father's account of Operation Speedwell which I would be happy to share with his family if they would like it.
