He was quoted in the book as being parachuted back into France after arrived in Britain in 1943 then promptly volunteering for 4 SAS Regiment. He returned to assist as “the translator for Captain Derrick ‘Happy’ Harrison during their clandestine raids on the German lines. Very interesting accounts of their exploits.
