Marcel Friedmann also mentioned in SAS Daggers Drawn book by Damien Lewis, published 2024. He was quoted in the book as being parachuted back into France after arrived in Britain in 1943 then promptly volunteering for 4 SAS Regiment. He returned to assist as “the translator for Captain Derrick ‘Happy’ Harrison during their clandestine raids on the German lines. Very interesting accounts of their exploits.
