CITATION:
Mention in Despatches : 26th January, 1959. On the 26th January, Lieutenant Coulter led a strong patrol from the high ground east of Tanuf to "Twin Peaks" a known enemy strong point. The aim of this patrol was to engage two enemy mortars in this area, to draw the enemy's attention to the Tanuf flank and away from the Kamah-Sumeet area where the main assault was to go in some hours later.
Lieutenant Coulter's determination to harass the enemy on this patrol and many other like it in the Tanuf area over the last two months has enabled his Company to operate freely over what was previously Rebel country.
