To Jash, although your uncle is not mentioned by name ,my father, a junior officer kept a diary of his time with the 69 LAA in India in 1943 which you might be interested to see ...I am publishing it as a blog on ww2talk.com and if you look at the earlier sections it gives an account of where they were. They are mentioned later when as a Chindit attached to column 20 he met up with the unit during the jungle training and flights into Burma. Good luck with your search
