I believe that Mr Dent was killed in Italy - died as a result of an air attack by German planes.

I have seen a comment in a book called 'Honour to the airborne' by David Buxton (publisher Elmdon) that Dench served in the Special Raiding Squardron Italy 5.10.43 is buried at Sangro river or Casino war cemetery.
