HISTORY motto “Excreta Tauri Astutos Frustantur” (Bullshit Baffles Brains) No 1 Section formed 1941 attached to L Detachment SAS 1941 incorporated into 1 SAS 1942 No 2 Section formed 1.3.1942 served North Africa “Z” SBS (2SBS) formed 1942 and disbanded 19.5.1944 “A”, “B” and “C” Groups SBS (2SBS) all served Burma 1944-45 as part of Small Operations Group 2 SBS also provided Army personnel for COPPs disbanded 27.10.1945 | ||||
